Social Events

The Organizing Committee is planning several social events to make your stay in Armenia as pleasant as possible. They include a banquet for July 3 rd and several tours as outlined below:

1. Banquet at " Parvanna " restaurant

A banquet is planned in a fine restaurant with a beautiful open-air courtyard and wonderful Armenian music.

Duration: 20:00 - midnight

Price: The cost is set at 25 USD per person. Dinner includes a variety of famous Armenian appetizers and two main dishes.
Address: Hrazdan Gorge, Yerevan , Armenia

2.  Tours

There will be two major tours: one afternoon tour and one full-day tour.

2.1. Afternoon tour to Garni and Geghard

Geghard ( "spear") is an ancient Armenian monastery, partly carved out of the mountain. According to tradition, the monastery was the depositary of one of the relics of the Armenian Apostolic church: the spear that one of the Roman guards had used to pierce the side of the crucified Christ.

The fortress of Garni combines elements of Hellenistic and national culture and is evidence of ancient influences and the distinctive building traditions of the Armenian people.
