Developing English/Armenian Interpretation Skills
This training is designed to provide people with a basic command of the English and Armenian languages with the skills and habits for oral interpretation and written translation between the Armenian and English languages, both ways.
The system of skills to be acquired by the students consists of ca. 2000 parallel English-Armenian texts grouped into 120 levels of difficulty and intended for a successive continuous presentation to the audience from level 0 to level 120.
The theoretical assumption is that the existing and newly acquired knowledge of the two languages will be strongly and relevantly interlinked into a powerful automatically operating mechanism forming at the same time an extensive semantic background rigidly attached to the mentioned bilingual system.
OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to simultaneously interpret orally pronounced texts from Armenian into English and reversely, on multiple subjects like
- political affairs
- economics

as well as other subjects associated with the bulk inventory of linguistic units used at international conferences and negotiations.
HOURS: 80 hours (8 weeks, 40 sessions)
FEE: 96 000 AMD (including VAT)
SCHEDULE: 5 days a week, 2 hour each session

Litigation & Arbitration in England
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
It is no secret of course that the international contracts increasingly refer to litigation or arbitration in England . This, as well as some other factors make England (and London ) one of the world's major litigation and arbitration venues.
The Civil Litigation in England & Wales course is the first of two courses to cover the substantive areas of English legal system, civil evidence, and civil procedure.
Some students would be tempted to read Arbitration without having an appreciation of the English legal process. Yet, it would be difficult, if at all possible, to get a full grasp of Arbitration's major principles and procedures without understanding litigation in the first place.
The course is therefore split in two major parts,
Part I: Civil Litigation in England & Wales ; and
Part II: Arbitrating under the LCIA ( London Court of International Arbitration) Rules
The course requires a full understanding of all relevant areas and an ability to apply the legal and procedural principles to practical scenarios. It is intended to assist in the learning process by providing a framework for study and suggesting an approach towards the assimilation of the necessary information. The success cannot be achieved without planned and consistent private study.
It is down to the students to properly organize their time.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
- In-house counsel;
- Lawyers in private practice;
- Professional staff from organisations involved in international commerce;
- Both undergraduate and graduate law, business, and other related fields' students;
- Judges and arbitrators;
- Experts and members of executive and legislative bodies in charge of the legal reform;
- Banks, Insurance companies, brokers
- CBA
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to demonstrate the knowledge of:
a) English legal system;
b) Principal statutes, substantive law and procedural regulations as they apply to
selected causes of action;
c) Principles of evidence applicable to civil proceedings;
d) Means to fund an action, when it would be appropriate to use particular forms of
funding and the consequences attaching to each particular form of funding;
e) Steps that need to be taken in a selected range of civil proceedings;
f) Major court-related documents;
