President Boghosian Visits Synopsys
AUA President Bruce Boghosian recently toured the Yerevan headquarters of Synopsys, Inc., to explore the potential for future cooperation between AUA and Synopsys, particularly in the area of engineering education and in light of AUA's plan to offer a BS degree in Computational Sciences beginning in September of 2013.

AUA Alum Tsovinar Harutyunyan Joins Faculty
AUA alumna Tsovinar Harutyunyan (MPH, 1999) has joined the College of Health Sciences as an Assistant Professor of Public Health. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Harutyunyan will contribute to the work of the Center for Health Services Research and Development as a Research Consultant. Harutyunyan earned her PhD in Health Services Research from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Papazian Library Provides Students with Access to World's Library Catalogs
AUA's Papazian Library now offers users access to WorldCat Local "quick start" enhancements, providing access to more than 892 million catalog items. Accessible through the Library's website, this new service offers bilateral resource sharing between AUA and the world's libraries, greatly enhancing the Library's existing resources. In the coming year WorldCat is expected to add services including web-scale delivery and circulation, license management, and print and electronic acquisitions.
