Continuing Education Program: Your Education-Your Choice

The law is always changing. That's why successful lawyers must continue to learn.

The Continuing Education Program is based on the idea that you know what you need to learn and you know your limits in terms of time and commitment. That is why we provide you with options. As a non-degree student in the Continuing Education Program you may enroll in one course, a few courses, or a complete module of study, as you choose. For example, if you want to learn how to better communicate with foreign clients, our Cambridge-designed course in International Legal English is exactly what you need. But if you can spare the time and effort, you would greatly benefit from taking the full module: International Legal English and Advocacy. Taking the full module is a more comprehensive way of improving your skills as an attorney. It's up to you.

Each module of study corresponds to a specific area of law and focuses on development of legal skills as well as knowledge (see Curriculum). For example, if you need to improve your understanding of business law, take our Business Law Module; if you need to better understand European Law, enroll in our European Law Module. Also, if after taking 1 or more modules you decide that you might as well obtain the LL.M., you can apply to the LL.M. Program, complete the remaining modules and the Master's Paper and obtain the degree. It's all your choice.

To be considered for admission as a non-degree student to the Continuing Education Program a shortened and streamlined application process is available. Check the AUA website (www.aua.am) or the Department of Law website (www.aua.am/law).
