Graduate Certificate
Law & Public
Advocacy
Contemporary education recognizes the value of cross-disciplinary
programs. Knowledge of both law and politics, as well as
the interconnections between these 2 fields of study, is
essential for those seeking to protect human rights and
to support civic development. For these reasons AUA's Department
of Law and School of Political Science and International
Affairs have joined forces to create a unique opportunity
for those who wish to pursue a career in international
and/or civil society organizations: the Graduate Certificate
in Law and Public Advocacy (GCLPA).
The Graduate Certificate in Law and Public Advocacy helps
students build the skills that they need to be successful
advocates for a cause, candidate or program in the public
sphere. This program also allows students the flexibility
to pursue their unique interests by allowing for a wide
variety of elective courses. In order to receive this Graduate
