Design and Installation of a Solar Driven Heating and
Desiccant Cooling Demonstration System

This exclusive project is a result of three years of collaborative work of five Partners: the DER/INETI (Portugal), ISE/Fraunhofer (Germany), InterSolarCenter (Russia), Contact-A and AUA (Armenia).   With the energy provided by the Solar Water Heating (SWH) collector field installed on the AUA main building rooftop, and operation of the Desiccant Evaporative Cooling machine, heating and cooling capability for the AUA 5th floor Auditorium is achieved.

This is the first solar driven combined system in the NIS and one of the few in the world. Click here to go to the main DESODEC page
