INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING PROJECTS

Coming soon:

Development of High Resolution High Speed Laser Scanner for Test and Investigation of Integrated Circuits and Photovoltaic Solar Cells. See also High Speed Scanning for Defect Monitoring, 1997-1998.

Completed projects:

  • Pro/ENGINEER Training Course Demo Project, 2001
The task of the project was to design and manufacture the mold form for an automobile mirror case.

  • High Speed Scanning for Defect Monitoring, 1997-1998

This work is designated to the development of a tool for characterization and test of semiconductor substrates and structures using a variety of nondestructive laser scanning methods, including the Laser Beam Induced Current (LBIC or Optical Beam Induced Current - OBIC), Scanning Photoluminescence, method of the Scattered Light Collection and Infrared Transmittance.

  • IT, 2001 A study of factors leading to the success of Irish, Israeli, and Indian IT industries; Develop a business plan for setting up an Armenian IT front company in the US; On - site research in Armenia.
  • Number of projects in 1998:
    * Evolutionary Algorithms in Optimizing Digital Controller Structures
    * Minimizing the mean damage for parallel-series systems with two failure modes
  • Number of projects in 1997: * Implementation of a cyclic scheduling algorithm in a laboratory of automation system
    * Determination of the critical parameters of floods, depending on the meteorological situation on certain geographical regions
  • Number of projects from 1992-1996
