Who Needs a Visa to enter Armenia
All participants except participants from Kyrgyz Republic and Russian Federation need visa. Visa can be obtained online at: http://www.armeniaforeignministry. am / eVisa or at the airport upon arrival.
Participants from AMICAL member institutions who are citizens of Egypt , Nigeria , Afghanistan , Iraq and Kosovo will need a Letter of Invitation from the hosting institution, the American University of Armenia , to apply for a visa. AUA will assist you in the visa process as soon as we get your Registration Form.
All conference participants will arrive at Zvartnots International Airport.
The Organizing Committee will make arrangements to meet all conference participants at Zvartnots airport upon arrival, and drive them to the hotels. When you go out of the Arrival area please look for a person carrying a sign “AMICAL Conference” who will drive you to the hotel.
The cost of the airport transfer (arrival/departure) will be covered by the grant from Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
Note: All guests departing from Yerevan must pay the airport tax of 10.000 AMD (approximately $35 USD) at the exchange booth before check-in.
