Alumni for children: networking future

On June 3, 2006 , Saturday, the AUA Alumni Association Board and the executive team joined their efforts under the slogan "Alumni for Children: Networking Future," and organized an unprecedented and beautiful event devoted to the International Day of Children. The initiative was targeted toward AUA alumni and their children up to 12 years, though their friends and family members also participated in the celebration. In the scope of the initiative, the alumni and their children were provided with FREE attendance to a puppet show and a dinner at the AUA Club Restaurant (special rates were provided by our alumnus Sam Samuelian - co-founder of Square One).

AUA AA & AEPLAC joint initiative: round -table on Armenia 's EU Integration  

On April 26, 2006 , Wednesday, a round-table took place in the small auditorium of the American University of Armenia , organized by the AUA Alumni Association (AUA AA) and the Armenian-European Policy and Legal Advice Center (AEPLAC). The topic of discussion was "Armenia's European Integration: Are there Other Alternatives for Armenia?"

An exciting billiards tournament among alumni completed

On March 25, 2006 , Saturday, the AUA Alumni Association, in cooperation with ARENA Bowling &Billiards Club, organized the first Alumni Billiards Tournament (Spring'2006). The tournament was sponsored by the Tufenkian Hospitality and represented by its Manager -an AUA alumnus and a participant - Hakob Hakobyan (MBA'1996).

AUA Open House: the AUA Alumni Association participation

On March 18, 2006 , Saturday, the AUA Alumni Association participated in the AUA Open House. Members of the AUA AA joined the event to their Alma Mater in recruitment issues. The alumni shared their experience with the newcomers, highlighting ways that AUA has contributed to their professional and personal development.

AUA Alumni leaders in civil society

On February 17, 2006 , Friday, the AUA Alumni Association (AUA AA) and the Education for Sustainable Development Foundation (ESDF) jointly held a meeting for AUA alumni -representatives of various non-governmental organization (NGOs). The purpose of the meeting was to discuss possibilities of cooperation among the NGOs led by AUA alumni, as well as among the NGOs and the AUA AA.
