Tuition Fees

Applicants should carefully consider the financing of their education at AUA from the time of their admission to the completion of their degree. Please note that fees are subject to change without notice. At the time of registration, applicants are classified as citizen or non-citizen according to the laws of Armenia.

The application fee to AUA is 6000 AMD (citizens of Armenia) or 28000 AMD (foreign citizens).

Students in the second year of their degree program: The tuition fee for second year students in degree programs in 2007 is 876,000 AMD per year (292,000 AMD per quarter) for Armenian citizens and long-term residents of Armenia and 3,000,000 AMD per year (1,000,000 AMD per quarter) for foreign students.

Students in the first year of their degree program: The tuition fee for first year students in degree/certificate programs in 2007 is 960,000 per year (320,000 AMD per quarter) for Armenian citizens and long-term residents of Armenia and 3,300,000 AMD per year (1,100,000 per quarter) for foreign students.

Please note that fees are subject to change from year to year; however, students in degree programs sign a contract with AUA upon enrollment which establishes tuition for the duration of the contract.

All fees are to be paid in Armenian Drams (AMD).

The tuition fee schedule will be posted by the Office of the Registrar on a quarterly basis. Fees may be refunded if students withdraw from enrollment, provided they file a "Petition to Withdraw" by the second week of classes. Tuition fees will not be refunded after the second week of classes.
