Application Procedures
Applicants should apply according to the previous checklist and make sure that completed applications are submitted. Although incomplete applications may be accepted, such applications will not be reviewed until they become complete. Applicants wishing to apply for financial assistance or scholarships should submit the Application for Scholarships and Financial Aid at the same time as the Admission Application. Decision letters for both applications are distributed to applicants by the Office of the Registrar at the same time.
Equal Opportunity: Any person may apply to study at AUA. AUA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, pregnancy, disability, age, medical condition (e.g. cancer), ancestry, marital status, citizenship, sexual orientation, or military service status.
AUA schedules numerous Application Help Days throughout the fall and winter months to help applicants understand the application process and help them complete the forms. Both the Admission Application and Financial Aid Application are discussed in detail and individual assistance is provided to anyone needing help.
Applicants will gain a better understanding of the application process by attending one or more Application Help Days. The schedule of Help Days is below:
