APPLYING FOR ADMISSION TO MASTER'S DEGREE AND CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
All applicants for admission to the graduate programs of AUA must complete and submit an application package to the University's Office of Admissions in accordance with the Schedule of Admissions. Incomplete packages will not be processed and considered. The package must include:
(a) A completed application form that includes a Statement of Purpose.
Applicants who select both a first and second choice of program are required to write two statements, one for each program selected.
(b) The applicant's undergraduate diploma (s) (original and copy). Applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree from a 4-year or 5-year program at an accredited institution of higher education or a licensed institution of higher education in Armenia.
(c)All previous college or university transcripts (original and copy). If the original transcripts are in a language other than English, Armenian, French, or Russian, then a notarized English translation is required.
The transcript submitted by each applicant must indicate all courses taken by the applicant and the grades earned.
An applicant who is graduating in the current year, and who does not have his/her complete transcript by the time the application package is due, must submit all available transcripts, a list of all courses in which s/he is currently enrolled, and provide, to the best of his/her knowledge, an estimate of the overall Grade Point Average of all his/her undergraduate coursework.
An official copy of the applicant's complete records from the previous institution or university must then be submitted to the Office of Admissions by the final deadline for completing the application package.
(d) Three letters of recommendation
(e) Passport (original and copy: photo page & address page).
Foreign applicants or others not applying in person must include a certified copy of their required passport pages.
(f) A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of
79 or higher on the Internet-Based TOEFL
or 550 or higher on AUA Paper-based TOEFL plus supplemental assessment of oral and written skills by the AUA
Department of English Programs
or a score of at least 6.5 or better on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) – and an acceptable Writing Score.
The test must have been taken in the two years prior to the application date.
(g)
A GRE, LSAT or GMAT score at a level determined by each department.

(h) A non-refundable application fee, payable in the equivalent Armenian currency, of 6000 AMD (for local applicants) or 28000 AMD (for international applicants).
Additional requirements for MBA Applicants
(1) Applicants to the MBA program must submit proof of employment. Armenian Citizens should bring their labor book (original and copy) with letters from previous and/or present work place(s).
(2) MBA applicants must write, in addition to the statement of purpose, two supplementary essays.
