Academic Calendar

AUA is changing the academic calendar so that new students are accepted once a year to begin their studies in the fall quarter. Students will take courses during three academic quarters: fall, winter, and spring. Programs in Computer & Information Science, Law, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language have new cohorts that will begin in fall 2008. All other programs will offer new cohorts beginning in fall 2009. In the case of the Masters of Public Health Program in the College of Health Sciences, new student cohorts are accepted to begin the program every other year, with the next cohort beginning fall 2009.
